Donar, es tener empatía

Nuestro trabajo era elaborar un texto que hable sobre la empatia y la donación de órganos, reflexionando a través de un cortometraje llamado "En el lado de la vida" y de un párrafo extraído de "Etica para Amador" Capítulo "Ponte en su lugar" de Fernando Savater:

"¿en qué consiste tratar a las personas como a personas, es decir, humanamente? Respuesta: consiste en que intentes ponerte en su lugar. Reconocer a alguien como semejante implica sobre todo la posibilidad de comprenderle desde dentro, de adoptar por un momento su propio punto de vista. Es algo que sólo de una manera muy novelesca y dudosa puedo pretender con un murciélago o con un geranio, pero que en cambio se impone con los seres capaces de manejar símbolos como yo mismo. A fin de cuentas, siempre que hablamos con alguien lo que hacemos es establecer un terreno en el que quien ahora es «yo» sabe que se convertirá en «tú» y viceversa. Si no admitiésemos que existe algo fundamentalmente igual entre nosotros (la posibilidad de ser para otro lo que otro es para mí) no podríamos cruzar ni palabra. Allí donde hay cruce, hay también reconocimiento de que en cierto modo pertenecemos a lo de enfrente y lo de enfrente nos pertenece... Y eso aunque yo sea joven y el otro viejo, aunque yo sea hombre y el otro mujer, aunque yo sea blanco y el otro negro, aunque yo sea tonto y el otro listo, aunque yo esté sano y el otro enfermo, aunque yo sea rico y el otro pobre. « Soy humano -dijo un antiguo poeta latino- y nada de lo que es humano puede parecerme ajeno.» Es decir: tener conciencia de mi humanidad consiste en darme cuenta de que, pese a todas las muy reales diferencias entre los individuos, estoy también en cierto modo dentro de cada uno de mis semejantes. Para empezar, como palabra... "

Y en base a eso, tuvimos que responder una serie de preguntas:
1. ¿Cuáles son las semejanzas que observas entre el contenido del cortometraje “En el lado de la vida” y el texto “Ponte en su lugar” de Fernando Savater?
2. El título de una obra tiene relación con el contenido de la misma. Explicar el significado del título del cortometraje y del texto, respectivamente. Fundamentar tu respuesta, citando momentos, imágenes o fragmentos de texto en los que muestren dicha relación.
3. Cuando se habla de “Donación de órganos” se plantea una diferencia entre el acto médico y el acto social. ¿A qué refiere esa distinción?

1) El texto siempre habla de que hay que tener empatía, que hay que ponerse en el lugar del otro e intentar saber lo que siente. En este caso, estamos hablando de la gente que solicita de órganos que son vitales para que puedan vivir. Que dependen de la gente solidaria que quiera donar. Y eso es justo lo que ocurre en el cortometraje; la chica (Ana) tuvo un accidente y falleció. Entonces la madre decidió donar los órganos de la hija a gente que lo necesitaba. Y segun el video se lograron salvar como 6 vidas.
2) Como mencione antes, el texto habla constantemente de tener empatía. Y claramente, el titulo “Ponte en su lugar” tiene una conexión muy grande con lo dicho en el texto. “Reconocer a alguien como semejante implica sobre todo la posibilidad de comprenderlo desde dentro” es decir, de adoptar su lugar con su punto de vista. “Soy humano y nada de lo que es humano puede parecerme ajeno.” Esto se refiere a que no podemos tratar de evadir lo que al otro le está pasando porque en parte es también nuestra responsabilidad como sociedad, y en el fondo somos conscientes de ello. Y tambien se podria decir que la madre de Ana comenzó a tener empatía, fue cuando vio con sus propios ojos a otra madre preocupada por su hija que podría fallecer. (A pesar de que ya había visto los carteles) Ella se puso en el lugar de la madre, ya que tambien fue la misma situacion que ella habia vivido, y al darse cuenta que aún tenía tiempo de poder salvarla, decidió donar los órganos de su hija.
3) Creo que esta distinción se refiere a que el acto social es cuando uno toma conciencia de lo que está pasando y se pone en el lugar del otro para ayudarlo. Ya sea donando órganos o hasta ser un “reproductor”, es decir, difundir la información y concientizar a más gente para que ayuden con la causa. Y el acto médico, supongo que es cuando ya oficialmente se está haciendo el trasplante de órganos, con los médicos las cirugías, etc. Esto nos demuestra que no es necesario ser un médico o un donante para ayudar. Con tan solo comunicar la información a más gentes, se podría considerar un “granito de arena” más...

During the Language class, our teacher Andrea, told us to pick one of the options given to write a story about it. It should have a limit of words of 180. So I chose number 1, and I started writing…

Yesterday I had the worst day of my life. I was just starting as an ordinary morning. I was going to have an exam that evening, however, I wasn’t prepared! I couldn’t study as I’d been in a party the day before and I’d arrived late and tired. So, while I was having breakfast and putting on my school clothes I was desperately studying everything I needed to know.
When I arrived at school, the class had already started. I sat down and I started copying and studying at the same time. To make matters worse, the teacher scolded me for arriving late. After that, I spent all day, class after class trying to complete my summary, and more than one teacher scolded me.
At midday, I left the summary under the desk, so I could have it ready for revise it before the exam.  However, when the time came, I had lost my summary. It had disappeared from the desk. I will never forget that day. All that effort and work just for nothing, down the drain! That horrible sensation that you know you’re going to fail no matter what. I know I didn’t do it well, but I still don’t know what happened to my summary…

Para calcular la altura de la torre Eiffel, nos situamos a 74 m de la base de la torre.  Si observamos la torre con un ángulo de elevación de 75°.
Pregunta: ¿Cuánto mide la torre?

Calculo:
Tg 75 = h/74

¿Que es la GLOBALIZACION?

La GLOBALIZACION es un proceso mundial, acerca del intercambio general de productos entre paises. El comercio de productos de comunicacion como telefonos, de transporte como autos y otros tipos de tecnologia y objetos de marca, es algo que ayuda a toda la poblacion mundial a consumirlos, y que involucra tanto la economia, la politica, como la sociedad y cultura de cada pais.

Elastic Heart

Elastic Heart it's the name of a song made by Sia which has a music video that involves a man and a girl inside a big cage interacting with each other while making strange expressions and movements. My interpretations of this is that they represents 2 animals locked in a cage that starts knowing each other till they find a way out but one of them wants to stay because now he feels at home.

At the beginning of the video, when this 2 characters are presented, we can appreciate that both of them are kind of "roaring" or fighting. They look at each other as some kind of enemy, or strange being that they are locked with and they just want to draw a line between them as if it was the first time they met. After that, one of them (the man) tries to escape by climbing the cage to find a way out. And at that moment, the little girl was lying on the floor like if she was tired, or maybe she just quited of trying escaping. So the man takes advantage of this and tries to get closer to the girl. It was all quited, they were just looking at each other maybe saying “hello”, and for one moment it looked as if they accepted each other. But suddenly we go back to the beginning, they start fighting again and messing around but this time, it seemed that they weren’t having a serious fight. They were just playing and having fun. I taked this as if they were knowing each other to try to have more confidence between them…

But suddenly, the girl sneaks among the cage’s bars and escapes. Now the man was furious, he wanted to be with her and get out but he didn’t know how. He desperately tried to grab the girl while she was outside, or break the cage but he couldn't. So the girl decides to enter again to be with him one last time. Since this moment, the man’s facial expression changes. He now looked worried or scared of something. It could be that he knew that he was not gonna be able to escape or see the girl again. They have a little time together, playing and maybe also saying goodbye…She was punching the man’s face and he was making different faces. I don't know it that had a secret meaning or they were just playing. Then, the girls tries to show him the exit and get him out but it looked like if he didn’t wanted to escape anymore, he looked sad, tired and gived up. The girl keeps trying but he was dying…

So as a conclusion, my interpretation on this video is the following: This 2 personas, that represents animals have been locked in his cage and they have never seen each other before. As any wild animal, at first they were roaring and fighting all the time and they couldn't get along. Both tried to escape but the were tired of trying, they started interacting together and knowing each other better while playing and messing around. But when one of them finds a way out, and the other one gets crazy and furious and starts screaming and punching the cage to try to escape too. So the girl tried to show him the way out, but he doesn’t seems like he wanted to escape anymore… as if he has accepted his fate. The title “Elastic Heart” could be interpreted as someone who has a lot of love to give, someone who is generous, helpful, honest, patient, a good person. This can also be described in the lyrics of the song. But sincerely, I don't know in what way I could relate that, to what’s seen in the video. Or better said, MY interpretation of what’s seen in the video… Cause other people may interpret it on a different way, so I cannot assure that my interpretations are correct. When I first saw the video, I didn’t understand it at all. I had to watch it many times, to at least have an idea of what this is about… And when you start to understand some things, you start to enjoy what you’re seeing…
